What does Synchronous and Asynchronous mean? Synchronous-Work that you do during zoom/teams meeting with the teacher or your other classmates Ex: Mini lessons, group work, shared writing, reading out loud, etc. Asynchronous Work you will do on your own without a teachers help (unless you sign on before or after our class for office hours!) Ex: Videos, polls, discussions, articles, etc. Our class is technically 2 hours long, so we will be giving
Virtual Class Expectations Before you join any virtual class, the following must be done in order to be permitted into class. Your correct first and last name for attendance records, therefore, you cannot rename yourself. Any names that are not on the class roster will NOT be permitted into class. The waiting room will be used to verify the correct name/student. Mute yourself always, unless prompted to unmute. Disruptions will be muted. Continued disruptions may be placed in the waiting room or removed from class

TRANSITION TO COLLEGE MATH (TCM) Class norms: Respectful, Responsible, Try your Best Combines a Curriculum of Business and Finance Math It is designed to help ensure career and college readiness for students. Through investigations of real-life contexts and problems, students develop a rich understanding of important mathematics that makes sense to them. All assignments are to be submitted through Schoology when due for full points. Students will also be using the following programs: Khan Academy-An educational program with the goal of creating a set of online tools that help educate students. Everfi-Financial Math Program that provides critical skills that life and work demands Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces (ALEKS)-Assessment tool that zeros in on the strengths and weaknesses of a student's mathematical knowledge, reports its findings to the student and instructor to provide a learning environment that will bringing this knowledge up to an appropriate level for course placement to a College/University

Special Education Special Education Main Line (District Support) 216-838-7733 Special Education is a continuum of services and supports designed for children who have disabilities that impact their academic performance. While the District is in Remote Learning, all special education services will be delivered remotely and through teletherapy services. The services in your child’s IEP will be implemented through virtual/remote means. In-person services will resume once it is safe to do so.
