Getting Started Answer the following questions to start transfer course self service process. Selections can be changed at any time to see potential progress toward different degree programs.

Transfer Course Entry Transfer courses as well as credit by exam (AP/IB/CLEP) are searchable in the system.

Institution Look Up Institutions are searchable by institution name, location city or state

Course Look Up Courses are searchable by subject, course number or course title

Adding a Course Check the “add another class from this school” box to add all classes from the same institution Go back to ‘select a school’ screen to add courses from a different institution

Courses not in transfer guide Courses that don’t appear in the transfer guide have not been transferred in by any previous students, therefore have not been reviewed Individuals can contact tcat for review of those courses Students required to apply and submit official transcripts to receive transfer credit evaluation

Course Re-Review Process Individuals can request a re-review of a course at any time Email course description and syllabus to TCAT ([email protected]) Example assignments/exams at academic college’s request TCAT contacts appropriate OSU academic dept to facilitate review of course Dept reviews course, completes transfer course review form, notifies TCAT TCAT updates transfer guide and notifies individual of review completion

Other common transfer guide questions My coursework is from 20 years ago; does it transfer? My coursework is showing a different evaluation than the transfer guide; can my evaluation be changed/updated? I’m planning to transfer in a few years; will the evaluations in the guide be the same at that time as they are now? I took courses online through Sophia/straighterline/study.com. Will my courses transfer?
