NASSCOM – MICROSOFT SURVEY REPORT Gap Assessment Study on ITI Training Ecosystem with a focus on IT/ ITeS Training under Microsoft Digital Skills Research stu Abstract: dyITIs should continue teaching COPA, this study indicates that the significance while the of adopting a holistic approach by focusing on students KAP level of technical skill and knowledge, quality of apprenticeship programmes, student employment expectations, connections with the IT industry and creation of strong social networks. This is anticipated to make the ITI and COPA experience more esteemed and valuable by augmenting employability scope of COPA graduates significantly COPA should not be meant for Data Entry Job. A separate course of 6 months can be made for domestic data entry operator. COPA should focus on better carrier prospects like junior programmer, UI designer, web developer, IT enabled service etc! Can COPA can be made 2 years or one year core module 2 optional add-on modules? 40

CTS COURSES TO BE ADDED/ MODIFIED/ DELETED Next Meeting on 9th JUN We have hold 2 meetings by the core group with the nominees of the IT-ITeS-NASSCOM SSC and NASSCOM Foundation. It has been decided to bifurcate in to two groups: core group and advisory group by adding more members in each group. The advisory group, decides the complete policy of what courses, and their topics (learning outcome) or QPs to be added/modified/deleted in the courses and The core group can have deep dive in framing the content under the guidance of the advisory team.

AGENDA OF NEXT MEETING (9th JUN) SSC Team will present PPT with courseware mapping detail for CTS courses and the further process to follow. SSC Team will share the process to follow in ‘Train the Trainers’ program and also the next steps to delve into further. To discuss more about the Bharat Skills portal and linking of furtureskills portal of SSC for short-term training. The decision will be further discussed with industrial experts and will be freezed.
