SOME & ANY

Some กับ any เป็นคำนำหน้าคำนามที่ใช้บอกปริมาณ แปลว่า “บ้าง หรือ จำนวนหนึ่ง” แต่ใช้แตกต่าง กันดังนี้ SOME บ้าง หรือ จำนวนหนึ่ง - เราจะใช้ some กับนามนับได้พหูพจน์และ นามนับไม่ได้ เช่น some milk some tourists students some coffee some

- เราจะใช้ some ในประโยคบอกเล่า เช่น I have some pens. (ฉันพอจะมีปากกาบ้าง) John wants some water. (John ต้องการ น้ำบ้าง) There are some books on the table. (มี ปากกาอยูบ ่ นโต๊ะบ้าง) There is some sugar in the bowl. (มี น้ำตาลทรายอยูใ่ นชามบ้าง)

- some สามารถใช้ในกรณีที่เป็นประโยคคำถามได้ แต่จะเป็น ประโยคคำถามที่ผู้ถามมัน ่ ล้วว่าเขาจะตอบ yes เป็นการยื่น ่ ใจอยูแ ข้อเสนอและการขอ (request) เช่น Do you want some money? คุณต้องการเงินไหม Would you like some tea? คุณจะรับชาไหมครับ Can I get you some coffee? ให้ผมซื้อกาแฟให้คณ ุ ไหม Can I have some tea? ขอชาหน่อยได้ไหม Can you give me some salt? คุณเอาเกลือให้ฉัน หน่อยได้ไหม

ANY บ้าง หรือ จำนวนหนึ่ง - เราจะใช้ any กับนามนับได้พหูพจน์และนาม นับไม่ได้ เช่น any milk any coffee any tourists any students - เราจะใช้ any กับประโยคปฏิเสธ แต่ความหมายจะเปลี่ยนเป็น “ไม่ เลย” เช่น ี ากกาเลยสักด้าม) I don’t have any pens. (ฉันไม่มป John doesn’t want any water. (John ไม่ต้องการ น้ำเลย) There aren’t any pencils under the table.

- เราจะใช้ any กับประโยคคำถามทั่วๆ ไป แต่ความหมายจะเปลี่ยน เป็น “ บ้างไหม” เช่น Do you have any pens? (ฉันมีปากกาบ้างไหม) Does John want any water? (John ต้องการน้ำบ้าง ไหม) Are there any books in the schoolbag? (มี หนังสืออยูใ่ นกระเป๋าเรียนบ้างไหม) Is there any coffee in the cup. (มีกาแฟอยูใ่ นถ้วย บ้างไหม)
