How to behave on social media
Don’t connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts They are two separate platforms!
Don’t just copy and paste press releases Press language and social media language are different. What’s the key message of the press release? Use that as the basis for your post!
How to deal with trolls Hide them Mute them Report them Don’t argue with them!
Trolls: Do not care about the facts Only want to get a rise out of you Don’t have much else going on in their lives
Don’t get into fights online with other members If you’re unhappy with the party or with the actions of another member, don’t start fighting on twitter. Use the official processes within the party to deal with disputes.
