Testimonial I just wanted to say thank you so much for the powerful event you organized for our students today. and I mean powerful! On the van ride back to school, the kids shared how impactful the student panel testimonies were and we all agreed that Pedro from EOPS reminds us of a stern, but loving, older male mentor who would push them, but never stop believing in them. Personally, I really appreciate how you asked the kids to look around the room and told them that this is what they could expect a college class to feel like because I believe you brought them one step closer to envisioning themselves as college students. Chris said that before this trip, he never thought he'd ever go to college, but that you guys persuaded him as of today. and for that alone, I'm eternally grateful. Can't wait to bring a larger group of students next Fall. Mark and I decided to open future fieldtrips to interested 10th and 11th graders as well as seniors. I've CC'd my principal and Senior Director so they are aware of how you and the Mesa College Outreach team have positively impacted the lives of our JCCS students. Have a great weekend and I'll definitely keep in touch :) -Jessica, JCCS College Presentation and Campus Tour, May 2, 2014
