University Development Counselor Role Works directly with students, schools and school districts within their local communities. Laura Woodall specializes in our online programs and is located in Columbus, Ohio Responsible for consulting with and helping students navigate through the best programs of study, application process, financial aid steps, TEACH Grant and scholarship benefits Provides support and consultation through entire program to Graduation Coordinates efforts with entire GCU graduation team. Works closely with Columbus City Schools

Teach Grant Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant Created in 2007, provides free assistance to highlyqualified, degree seeking students GCU is the largest recipient of TEACH Grant funding Must agree to teach in a high-need subject area in a school serving students from low-income families Maximum funding: 8,000 for graduate degrees, 16,000 for undergraduate degrees High-needs fields: Bilingual education Mathematics Reading Science Special Education State-specific high needs fields
