Orientation to Pre-Nursing Orientation will be July 14th and 15th Advisors will schedule your autumn classes You will learn more about the pre-nursing program You will meet other students in the prenursing major A newsletter will be sent out explaining more about orientation
Prerequisite Courses English 1110 Psychology 1100 Sociology 1101 or Rural Sociology 1105 Biology 1101 or 1113 Anatomy 2300 or EEOB 2510 Chemistry 1110 Physiology EEOB 2520
Review of Admissions Timeline Application opens: October 1 Application deadline: January 15 Prerequisites must be completed by the end of spring semester Admissions decisions are announced at the end of May or early June BSN coursework begins in autumn semester following the admissions cycle
Factors Considered on the Application Grades earned in prerequisite courses Overall college GPA Quality of essay Pre-nursing students must maintain at least a 3.2 GPA to apply to the program
