Common Problems The common problem areas are: Complete addresses (Address line 2) Lift assist calls need to be coded as 554 for incident type with action codes of 71 or 711. UNLESS it turns into a transport then it will be a 321 with a 32/33 code along with 34 transport. Incident narratives for EMS runs only need to just say “See PCR” unless it is an accident and there is a narrative from a fire unit. All units dispatched need to be entered in “Units” even those cancelled along with the crew.
Common Problems Make sure the “Property & Involvement” tab is completed. For EMS calls this would be the patient’s name. For Fire calls it will be the occupant and/or owners names. Runs to other communities are coded as 571 (cover assignment) unless we are cancelled (611). All other incidents each “Unit” should complete a narrative in their unit notes. Copy each narrative into the incident narrative for the final report. (2710) MAKE SURE to enter a dollar loss for fires. (2710) If water is used at a scene need to enter that in the Equipment Used tab under additional reports (see below). Water Department asks for a monthly report on the municipal water usage.
