Individual Counseling 30 - 50 minute one-on-one telehealth meetings with a clinician Regularly scheduled goal-directed sessions (often weekly or biweekly) Referral services to community providers given as indicated

Medication Management Provide assessment, evaluation, and medication consultation Eligible only when: ·First time considering medications ·Participate in ongoing counseling If you need a local prescriber to continue your current medications or you want medication management only, we will assist you with a referral to a community provider

Attendance Expectations Given the demand for Counseling Services appointments and our commitment to serve all students in need, please keep your appointments and arrive on time. You may lose your time slot if: You fail to cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance You do not call to confirm your next appointment within two business days after your missed appointment You have multiple absences to appointments

Counseling Services Scope of Practice Counseling Services provides brief, goal-directed, treatment, so there may be times when a student’s treatment needs extend beyond that which we can provide. Counseling Services will assist with referrals to other care as needed.

Counseling Services Scope of Practice Counseling Services reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment for reasons including: Need or want more specialized care, a higher level of care, mandated treatment, or care outside of Counseling Services Disruptive, belligerent, or threatening behavior Major irreconcilable differences Deception, fraud, or other serious misuse of services Non-compliance or lack of appropriate commitment or attendance to treatment
