Preapproval Phase Common core is an educational initiative in the United States which details what K-12 students should know in mathematics and English language arts at the end of each grade. The initiative is aimed at establishing consistent educational standards in the US and lay the foundation for students entering high school, college and the workforce.
Need for Change Parents/Guardians started to complain about the lack of support in the program for students. Form a team to assess the issues and establish a change plan. Develop new policies and organize appropriate training. Change agents need to convince influential employees in the organization of the need for change.
Technology Required Apple Network Server Apple network server permits employees to communicate using calendar synching, Group Messaging, FaceTime, Video Conferencing and iMessage. Email Accounts Employees can use email to communicate (send memos), transfer documents/files, presentations. Newsletter Publish announcements updates on changes and achievements at various stages of the transition process. Survey Monkey Resource used to evaluate the ascertain to progress and any modifications necessary.
How to Test Effectiveness Progress of Training Evaluations are carried out with employees being tested on their understanding of the change process. Also, simulations to make sure that employees follow the right procedure when new processes are implemented. Credibility of Trainers Trainers need to be qualified and respectful to get the attention of adult learners. Certification in specific skill areas will command the respect of trainees. Respect for diversity. Job improvement evaluation Data analysis should be carried out gauge progress and observe employees in operation. This evaluation is also accessible to customers through feedback to measure perception on improvement.
Impact of Management Response to Change Recruitment of employees receptive to the change process . Retaining employees who show progress in the process. Replace employees whose work, worth and conduct do not advance the process. Remove employees that resist (passively or otherwise).
Generate Feedback for Continuous Improvement Reporting previous evaluations, accomplishments, achievements in training and employee development. How Communication Affect Organizational Change Communication facilitates dissemination of information. Communication explains the change process and the objectives. Communication encourages feedback and participation. Communication promotes awareness and good work relations. Communication makes negotiation and general dialogue easier.
